includes the childs uniform, school supplies, and meals,
as well as their portion of the field trips and parasite medication. |

program educates our students and their parents (along with
people from surrounding communities) about proper heath care.
This is one of the most needed programs we offer. This budget
provides medical seminars twice a month for one year and includes
all doctors fees and supplies. |

Escuelita is moving to a new building in 2005! The new space
is bigger and has better ventilation, but we need to paint and
refurbish the classroom. We also need to purchase some new school
supplies, shelves, and a refrigerator. |

| Our
students are highly impoverished and rarely have an opportunity
to travel beyond their own neighborhoods. Field trips give them
a much broader view of the world and what is possible in life.
There are at least 4 trips per year. The zoo, Coca-Cola factory,
local dairy farm, and art museum are commonly on the list. Cost
includes transportation, lunch, and the occasional entrance
fee. |

is simple for most of us to think of eating breakfast and lunch,
but our kids in Bolivia depend on these meals to fill their
tummys each day. Most dont eat |

dinner,
so the food they eat in our school is very important. This is
a wonderful program in our school since virtually no school
in Santa Cruz serves food.

| Throughout
the year, our students receive medications such as antibiotics
and worm treatments. We also provide an initial medical exam
at the beginning of the school year and toothpaste for all of
our students. |

| Each
student receives two uniforms. Our teachers assistant
washes and irons the uniforms daily so that the children always
have a clean outfit to wear while in school. At the end of the
year they keep their uniforms. |
