he following list highlights a few of the programs in need of funding and their approximate costs. Please let us know if you – or your organization, church, group, or school – can assist us in reaching our funding goals. We appreciate you, depend on you, and are very grateful for any help you can offer!

This includes the child’s uniform, school supplies, and meals, as well as their portion of the field trips and parasite medication.
Cost per year: $300 Cost per month (10 months): $30

This program educates our students and their parents (along with people from surrounding communities) about proper heath care. This is one of the most needed programs we offer. This budget provides medical seminars twice a month for one year and includes all doctors’ fees and supplies.
Cost of program: $2000

Our Escuelita is moving to a new building in 2005! The new space is bigger and has better ventilation, but we need to paint and refurbish the classroom. We also need to purchase some new school supplies, shelves, and a refrigerator.
Cost of project: $1300

Our students are highly impoverished and rarely have an opportunity to travel beyond their own neighborhoods. Field trips give them a much broader view of the world and what is possible in life. There are at least 4 trips per year. The zoo, Coca-Cola factory, local dairy farm, and art museum are commonly on the list. Cost includes transportation, lunch, and the occasional entrance fee.
Cost for program: $580

It is simple for most of us to think of eating breakfast and lunch, but our kids in Bolivia depend on these meals to fill their tummy’s each day. Most don’t eat

dinner, so the food they eat in our school is very important. This is a wonderful program in our school since virtually no school in Santa Cruz serves food.
Cost for Breakfast for one year: $1500
Cost for lunch for one year: $1500
Cost of program: $3000

Can’t have a school without the necessities!
Cost per year: $900

Throughout the year, our students receive medications such as antibiotics and worm treatments. We also provide an initial medical exam at the beginning of the school year and toothpaste for all of our students.
Approximate cost for one year: $600

Each student receives two uniforms. Our teacher’s assistant washes and irons the uniforms daily so that the children always have a clean outfit to wear while in school. At the end of the year they keep their uniforms.
Total cost for one year: $200

Please call or email to find out more information about funding the annual salaries of our Bolivian teacher, teacher’s assistant, and program manager. We also need help funding large medical clinics and, of course, funding to purchase a new building so we may have a larger school.
